How it works

From enquiry to your first local order

  1. 1

    Send a shop enquiry

Tell us about the shop, likely payment route, and whether you want collection, delivery, or both.

  2. 2

    Add shop settings

Set opening hours, contact details, and ordering preferences.

  3. 3

    Add products

Use manual entry, Quick Entry, or photo drafts.

  4. 4

    Choose fulfilment

Offer collection, delivery, or both. Collection-only is fine.

  5. 5

    Choose payment

Start with a suitable shop-owned payment route.

  6. 6

    Complete admin approval

We check the shop before its public storefront is enabled.

  7. 7

    Welcome local customers

Once approved and enabled, shoppers can find and order from you.

Fulfilment

Collection-only is fine

Start with customer collection and add delivery later. If you already have delivery arrangements, configure them when your shop is ready.

Your catalogue

Start with your best sellers

You do not need your whole shop online on day one. Begin with 20 to 50 popular products, then expand using Quick Entry, photo drafts, and catalogue editing.

Simple public-beta pricing

No order, no platform fee.

No setup fee during public beta. There is a 50p platform fee per order, and your shop keeps its product revenue.

Delivery or rider costs and payment provider fees may apply separately depending on your shop setup.

Your payments

Keep control of how customers pay

You do not need to change payment provider just to get started. Basildon Delivery does not store card details, and payment goes directly to the shop through the shop's selected route.

Start simply

Use manual or shop-terminal payment where it suits your operation.

Use payment links

Generic HTTPS payment links and Verofy PayLink-style flows can support shop-owned payment.

Connect hosted checkout

Hosted checkout adapters can be used only when they are connected, configured, and tested.
